Founded in 1996 by the Istanbul Education and Culture Foundation (İSTEK) , Yeditepe University aims to educate young people who are pioneers in many fields in Turkey, distinguished in their academic and administrative staff, and who, guided by Atatürk's ideals, are contemporary, research-oriented, innovative, possess all the qualities and skills needed by the business world, are technologically proficient, knowledgeable about world culture, and have strengthened their self-identity.
